Concealed pistol license and personal protection training in West Michigan, taught since 2001.
Midwest Tactical Training started in 2001 and has been teaching Michigan concealed carry students ever since. The classes are built on the United States Concealed Carry Association curriculum and cover the full state training requirement in a single day, classroom instruction and live fire at the range.
The teaching approach is plain. You learn the law and the liability side properly, you get real coaching on your grip and your stance rather than a video, and you are expected to ask questions.
Skip Coryell

Skip has taught personal protection for more than 25 years and has trained roughly 20,000 students to carry a concealed pistol safely. Most of them arrive with little or no shooting background.
He is a certified USCCA pistol instructor and has taken advanced instruction from Rob Pincus of ICE Training, Massad Ayoob, Dave Spaulding of Handgun Combatives and John Correia of Active Self Protection. He is a graduate of Cornerstone University and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Away from the range he writes. He is the author of more than twenty books on concealed carry and personal defense, including Civilian Combat: The Concealed Carry Book, and he hosts The Home Defense Show.
